Amidst the corona virus chaos, Akshaya Tritiya or Akkha Teej, one of the most auspicious days in Hindu calendar falls on next Sunday, 26th April. This year the yuti of Rohini Nakshatra and Abhuj Muhurat makes this Akshaya Tritiya a very special one. It is said that any new work can be started this day. Marriages are super hit in Hindi belt.

It’s lockdown, temples are closed, so, devotees are advised to pray for health and wellbeing from comfort of their homes. Donation to marginalised (दान पुण्य) and Ganga bathing (गंगा स्नान ) is top two rituals are followed on this day. The ultimate objective is to give and show the compassion for the people who are struggling to make both ends meet. This day, donating for the cause of leprosy is also advised. Every year Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on Tritiya of Shukla Paksha in Vaishakh month. This year it starts at 11:50 am on 25th April (Saturday) and ends on 01:21 pm on 26th April (Sunday).

2020 Muhurat and Puja Time:

Puja time is best at Sun Rise amidst the Shankh, Neechbhang, Parvat Yog,

Amla, Ruchak and Shash Yoga. In a red potli put together all your gold jewelleries and offer puja. After it put the powerful potli where your tijori or money box is. Chant Mahalakshmi Mantra:
