Narendra Modi inaugurates Amrita hospital in Faridabad
“I thank Amma for this incredible gift to the mankind. This hospital is amalgamation of modern technology and spiritual power,” said the prime minister in his inaugural address.
Spread on 130 acres in Sector 88 of Greater Faridabad the Amrita Hospital has 8 centres of excellence, 81 specialities, 2600 beds that include 534 critical care beds. With other hospitals in the vicinity like Asian Fidelis and Accord, Greater Faridabad is becoming the hub of modern healthcare facilities in the region. It has come into the existence with about 6000 crores capital infusion.
Mata Amritanandamayi in her address lauded the efforts of PM Modi in his efforts in research and affordable healthcare for all. She said that, “right time, own efforts and blessing of GOD” make any dream a reality.
Shri Manohar Lal in his address said that earlier there were only seven medical colleges in Haryana but now there are 13 and nine are in pipeline. After that, each district will have one medical college.
