Haryana to set up air quality monitoring station at Faridabad
The Times of India reported that the Haryana State Pollution Control Board will set up a monitoring station at Faridabad for continuous analysis of ambient air quality.
For continuous data collection and analysis of pollution level in the city, a Rs 18-lakh Ambient Air Quality Monitoring station will be set up in Faridabad as two other old stations remain functional only twice a week, a spokesman of the board said.
He said the data provided by the station will be analysed to improve the air quality of the city and will also be displayed on highways for general awareness.
